Carry less. Know it better.
A packing conversation about purpose, familiarity and what needs checking.

Start with the conditions
There is no universal packing list for a coast and a mountain range. Temperature, wind, precipitation, water exposure and accommodation change the picture. Treat our equipment selections as conversation starters. They are not a complete safety checklist.
Familiarity is useful weight
A well-understood layer or comfortable pair of boots can matter more than a new purchase. Try your equipment before a real trip, check its condition and ask the operator what is provided. The demonstration planner does not recommend brands or certify any item.
Separate personal and specialist kit
A notebook and a dry pouch are different decisions from a surfboard, protective equipment or technical mountain gear. Specialist kit needs expert selection and fitting. Our example kit choices deliberately stop short of technical instruction.
